Marathon Center for the Performing ArtsLast December, the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts made a splash in town with its inaugural season. Now, with the announcement of a bigger season with more big names coming to town, we couldn’t be more excited.

Here’s a bit of what we’re looking forward to from the second season of Marathon Center for the Performing Arts:

The Toledo Symphony is coming back

In February, the Toledo Symphony wowed the audience with their tribute to great movie music. In September, the symphony will be back, but this time with Will & Anthony, a classically-trained singing and comedy brother duo. Expect a lot of big talent and laughs at this show.

A STOMPing good time

This nationally-acclaimed show has been making headlines for many years. A newly revamped version with new routines is on its way to the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in November. We suggest buying your tickets to this mega hit as soon as possible, because STOMP will sell out.

Family-Friendly Holiday Shows

Want to share the magic of the holiday season with your family? You will have four chances to see great holiday shows at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. It starts with the Boston Brass Holiday, continues with Sandi Patty‘s farewell tour and closes with two shows from local dance troupe Neos Dance Theatre.

Gavin Creel’s Homecoming

He’s busy finishing up a run on Broadway right now, but our hometown boy is coming back in May to entertain Findlay. Gavin Creel is the ultimate story of someone that is making our whole community proud. He plans on taking Findlay on a journey through musical theatre history for this one night only performance. So don’t miss your chance to see this one-of-a-kind performance.

This second season will also give you the opportunity to see acrobats, comedy troupes, dancers and everything in between. There is a little bit of everything in the Marathon Center of the Performing Arts‘ new season and we just can’t wait to see it.
