It’s the holiday season and there are so many gifts to buy! But that doesn’t mean you have to be stuck at home with nothing to do.

Luckily, in Findlay, you’ll find lots of free things to do to celebrate the season. So grab the whole family and get ready for some free Findlay fun:

Meet Santa

Every Friday, you can meet the Big Guy in person. Santa is ready to meet your kids at St. Andrews UMC thanks to the Findlay Kiwanis Club. And after they give their lists of what they’d like to see under the tree, you can all enjoy WinterFest together, with wagon rides, cookies and hot chocolate!

But maybe that’s too much for your little ones. In that case, meet Sensitive Santa on December 20. Awakening Minds Arts will create a sensory-friendly environment for your children that will include dim light and limited noise. It’s a great way to allow all kids to enjoy the holiday season.

Take a Holiday Walk

There is nothing as dazzling as seeing our beautiful homes dressed in their Christmas best. That’s why you need to take a walk during the holiday season. See the delightful architecture of these historic homes kissed with the dancing of multi-colored lights. We have an itinerary of historic homes that you need to check out.

Get in the Spirit with Mazza Museum

Mazza Museum is a great stop anytime of year, but the holiday season is a perfect time to rediscover this free experience. You can learn about how illustrated books are created while being able to read the books themselves together with your family. You can even go to the bookstore so your kids can pick out the perfect books and toys for Santa to give them. And thanks to Sunday Funday, your kids will have a free opportunity to learn about the Nutcracker with activities, games and storytime!
