Fall in Findlay is a magical time. The weather cools down and you’re surrounded by the beauty of rapidly changing leaves. It’s enough to turn anyone into a big kid. And there are a lot of free things to do in Findlay.

Looking for some budget-friendly fun during this season full of magic? Luckily, you have a lot of choices.

Here are three that we are most looking forward to:

Get Outside

Did we mention the weather is getting cooler? This is the perfect time to get out and explore our area! And there are so many places you should go to spy that beautiful fall color.

Go on a walking tour of our historic homes to see those colors dance around the bricks and columns of these houses. Get to one of our parks to see the stunning yellows and reds. Or go to the University of Findlay to fall in love with the colors on the perfectly manicured grounds.

No matter what you choose, you’ll love being surround by all those gorgeous fall colors.

Take a Look at the Stars

Have you ever wanted to know just what constellations are in the sky? The Hancock Parks District has the perfect event for you. to show

They’ll be taking a look at Fall Constellations to show you what you can see during this season. This free event requires advanced registration.

And why should you go? This time of year, you can see the Draconids Meteor Shower. That’s in addition to discovering all of the other constellations you can see in the sky above.

The Halloween Parade

The fall season brings a lot of Findlay fun. But one of our absolute favorites is the Halloween Parade

Your little ghoul or goblin can come dressed up in costume as they marvel over float after float of Halloween fun. You can be guaranteed they will leave with plenty of candy.

Be advised to show up early as this is a Findlay favorite and will bring out many people.
