Now that the glow of the holidays are behind us it is time to find things for the kids (and you!) to stay occupied.  When the weather is chilly and the lure of loafing on the couch is an attractive option it is hard to think of things to do.  Here are some of our ideas to make sure the winter  break blues don’t get you down!

Winter break is here and its time to keep the kids - and Mom and Dad - occupied. See what is going on this week in Findlay, including New Year's Eve Plans! • VisitFindlay.comVisit the Mazza Museum

201 College St. (University of Findlay Campus)
Wednesday, Noon – 5 p.m.

With artwork from children’s book illustrations covering wall to wall, an afternoon at the Mazza Museum is a magical day.  The Mazza Museum is opening for just one day during Winter break so don’t miss your chance for a fun afternoon taking in the beautiful illustrations, finding your favorite, or discovering a new favorite!  MazzaMuseum.org

Spend an afternoon at the Children’s Museum

1800 Tiffin Ave. (Findlay Mall)
Tuesday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Friday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

There is no better place to bring your kids for a few hours of blowing off steam.  Children will use their imaginations while learning about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through activities in the many exhibits in the museum.  Kids can dress up like a firefighter while playing on the fire truck, fix up some animals at the veterinarian’s office, take calls at the bank, and even learn about transportation and travel at the Visit Findlay exhibit!  Facebook.com
