Recently, I had the pleasure of trying out one of Findlay’s newest eateries, Fireside Brick Oven Pub and Grill in downtown Findlay. It is in the former Niswander’s Jewelers building. I used to frequent the jewelry store, so I was curious about the renovations. Holy Moly! It did not look anything like that jewelry store.

They did such a great job of remodeling it. I was very impressed. I loved the architecture. I would describe it as modern retro. I also love that they have a patio area. I do love dining alfresco.

Ok, enough about the venue, let’s talk about the food. I had the You Say Tomato Pizza. It was bursting with flavor and the ingredients were so fresh. Their pizzas are about 10 inches around and are cooked in a 900 degree wood fired brick oven. They taste like a slice of heaven.
You can choose one of their creations, or create your own pizza. They also offer amazing salads, fresh fired sandwiches and tantalizing appetizers that will make your mouth wanting more. You can reward your tummy and satisfy your sweet tooth with one of their succulent deserts.

The service was marvelous. Enjoy the Fireside Brick Oven for lunch or dinner. They are located at 331 South Main Street. If you can’t eat in, you can also carry out.
I love supporting locally owned businesses and definitely recommend that you try this new downtown Findlay treasure.
