Blanchard will host an Easter Egg hunt at Island Park beginning at 1 p.m.  Make sure to plan on heading back to Island Park on Easter Sunday for a special sunrise service at 7 a.m.  This service will be held at the community’s new gazebo and is open to the public.

Outdoor Fun

Easter is good weather’s first holiday, take advantage of it!  Hopefully the Spring weather will cooperate and allow you and your family to enjoy both the city parks and county parks this Easter weekend.  The Fort Findlay Playground at Emory Adams Park or the playgrounds at Rawson Park are a great opportunity to burn off some energy.  Or, enjoy a walk through Oakwoods Nature Preserve, check out the waterfalls at Riverside Park, and take your furry friend to the Dog Park at Riverbend.  There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors this Easter!
