The Flag City BalloonFest is a free community event that is one of the signature events in Hancock County. This event is sponsored by local businesses that understand the value and pride of investing in their community and the rewards our community receives in return. Highlights of the festival include great food, fireworks, a kids area, the balloon launch and glow.
7 a.m. Hot Air Balloon Flight – fly into Emory Adams Park See the balloons!
8 a.m. Up, Up, and Away 5K
8 .m. – 9 p.m. Radio Controlled Airplane show
9 a.m. – Dark Helicopter Rides
9 a.m. Beer Garden Opens
10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Pony Rides available, Jungle Island Petting Zoo and Kids Fair open, including inflatables, carnival type games, and other activities. Ticket sales end at 8:30 p.m.
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Vintage Baseball Game. 1880’s era game played by the Wyandot Ghost Riders vs the Tippecanoe Canal Jumpers. Vaun Wickerham will provide the play by play action.
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Car and Motorcycle Show
11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Knocker Ball
4 – 5 p.m. Balloon Pilot autograph session
5:30 p.m. Scholarship Presentation
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tethered Balloon Rides for $20.00, no reservation required
6:30 p.m. Hot Air Balloon Flight – Fly into Emory Adams. See the balloons!
9 p.m. Hot Air Balloon Illumination
