Professional Development Workshops are presented by The Arts Partnership.  They are FREE to ALL educators and pre-service educators.

Bring Shakespeare to life in your classroom! In this workshop, teachers will build skills to help their students actively explore and analyze Shakespeare’s stories, language, characters and themes while promoting communication, collaboration and confidence. Drawing on her rich and varied experience as a teacher and theatre artist, Meriah Sage will offer examples and practical ideas teachers can take and adapt for their own lessons. This workshop will challenge teachers to think creatively and critically about one of Shakespeare’s works and offer practical ideas on how to integrate these technique into your curriculum.

Meriah Sage has been active in the field of theatre education and arts integration for over 15 years. Meriah currently teaches Arts Integration, Drama in Education, and Theatre at Ohio Northern University, Eastern Michigan University, and Bluffton University.
