Parks

Hancock County is lucky enough to be home to great parks.  Whether you want to run around the reservoir, go for a walk on a nature trail, or take some great photos, the parks have you covered.  We recommend walking the trails and seeing the covered bridge at Riverbend Park, seeing the waterfalls at Riverside Park, and visiting Litzenberg Memorial Woods and the McKinnis House.

Barn Quilt Trail

Hancock County is home to many barn quilt squares, and they make for the perfect photo!  These squares are designed and hand painted by Barn Gabriel, who started the trail in Hancock County.  There is at least one barn quilt square in each of Hancock County’s 17 townships and over 86 squares total.  Learn more about the trail and download the brochure to plan out your route for your photo safari.
