Christmas weekend is filled with family get togethers, holiday traditions, present giving, and more. But don’t forget to attend some of Findlay’s annual Christmas events and make new traditions with your family!
North Pole Express

Take a ride on the North Pole Express! Enjoy a ride on our trains and enjoy the beautiful holiday decorations! Rides are $3 for adults and $2 for children 12 years old and younger. This price includes a train ride ticket! Plus, take a stroll in the indoor winter wonderland and you will be able to see Santa on select dates and make sure you bring your letter and drop it off in the special North Pole mailbox. Join Findlay Mayor, Lydia Mihalik for an evening of Christmas cheer. Local choir groups will lead the community in Christmas Carols around the beautifully light Christmas Tree in Dorney Plaza. Donations will also be accepted to help families in our community who are in need. Items will be donated to City Mission, Salvation Army, Chopin Hall, and Hope House, see a list of urgent needs here. The Donnell School Band will be performing from 5 – 5:30 p.m., and at 5:30 caroling will begin, led by Findlay High School’s FFE and Hancock County Children’s Choir. Get your last minute holiday shopping done without kids! Designed for children ages 4 – 13. This class offers a variety of arts and crafts in a FUN, social, 2 hour class. Let the kids let loose on a Friday night with some art while you enjoy downtown Findlay! This class encourages socialization and independence while fostering self-esteem and creativity. Christmas at the MCPA

Christmas at the MCPA is a free Christmas celebration for the community presented by Movement Church. There will be a coffee/hot chocolate bar, live Christmas music, a time to celebrate Hope House, and a Christmas message closed with Christmas carols. There will also be a children’s program for children 5 years old and under.
