Let us help fund your event in 2018 with a Visit Findlay Grant!  With four grants to choose from there are plenty of opportunities to find the right grant for your event.  In addition to grant dollars, make sure to add your event to our calendar and take advantage of other resources we offer our partners!

2018 Grant Program

The Community Connect Program

This grant does not require matching funds and can be awarded up to $500. Special consideration will be given to events taking place outside of the City of Findlay. Funds must be used for marketing and advertising costs, and applications are due 30 days before the date of the event.  Awarded funds will be reimbursed pending a completed reimbursement form, receipts, and proof of logo usage due 60 days after an event.  Print the application or fill it out online.

The Co Op Advertising Program

Our most popular grant, this program is a 50% matching grant, meaning Visit Findlay will pay for half of all marketing, up to the approved amount.  Events with a local focus may apply for up to $1,000 and events with a regional focus may apply for up to $3,000. Funds must be used for advertising and promotion costs, and applications are due 60 days before the date of the event.  Awarded funds will be reimbursed pending a completed reimbursement form, receipts, and proof of logo usage due 60 days after an event.  Print the application or fill it out online.

The Tourism Development Program

A 50% matching grant, this grant may be awarded up to $8,000 for events in the first few years of existence.  Funds cover the total event budget, exclusions are listed on the event application.  Applications will be accepted for events occurring between March 1, 2018 – February 28, 2019, applications are due February 2, 2018.  Half of the awarded amount will be disbursed upon approval, the second half of funds will be reimbursed pending a completed reimbursement form, receipts, and proof of logo usage due 60 days after an event.  Print the application or fill it out online.

The Tourism Growth Program

A 50% matching grant, up to $5,000. Eligible events must be already established, with concrete plans for significant growth, funds may be used for the total expenses used for the event enhancement.  Applications for events occurring from March 1, 2018 – February 28, 2019 are due February 2, 2018.  Half of the awarded amount will be disbursed upon approval, the second half of funds will be reimbursed pending a completed reimbursement form, receipts, and proof of logo usage due 60 days after an event.  Print the application or fill it out online.
