If you’ve been driving through Downtown Findlay lately you may have noticed its a little tricky to navigate. We understand the frustration, but don’t let some construction get in your way to visiting your favorite restaurants and shops. To reward those who are making the trek Downtown, Visit Findlay has collaborated with the Downtown Services and Retail Association and Downtown Food and Drink Club to bring a special promotion to those who shop, eat, and play Downtown – and the good news is that it has already started!
Snap • Share • Win
Every three weeks a colorful theme will be introduced. We want you to along! Snap your most creative photo to fit the theme and submit it through social media using #DowntownFindlay. At the end of each three week theme a group will pick their favorite photo and caption combination, so get your creative juices flowing and have fun! But don’t worry, we will help where we can. All Downtown restaurants, shops, and service organizations will have props for each theme that you can use for you photo. As you are dining, shopping, working out, or taking a class take a moment and snap a photo. It is important that your posts are public and use #DowntownFindlay, you can submit photos using Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Also, make sure we know you’re Downtown! Include a storefront, building, or street sign in your photo.

Hold on to your hard hats – Sarah Crisp (Awakening Minds Art), Jody Combs (RooBarb Studios), Lori Bowman (Dressing Room Boutique), and Janealla Killebrew (Gaslight Gallery) are ready for construction!
It’s not that HARD to play Downtown!
September 25 – October 15
Grab a yellow hard hat and find your inner construction worker for this theme! Hard hats are available at Downtown restaurants, shops, and service locations like Awakening Minds Art and YMCA.
ORANGE you excited for the new Downtown?
October 16 – November 5
Embrace all the orange Downtown and snap a photo with an orange barrel or cone. There are plenty to choose from!
Roll out the RED carpet
November 6 – November 24
We’re nearly there and are rolling out the red carpet for you! Strike a pose on the red carpets outside restaurants and shops and expect the same great Downtown service with a brand new look.
HOLLY jolly holiday season
November 25 – December 31
Entries for this theme won’t be entered for the grand prize, however you can still win a Downtown Gift Certificate! When you’re doing your holiday shopping this season keep an eye out for hidden holly and post photos of your finds!

Prizes
Like we mentioned before, each theme will yield at least 1 winner with the best photo and caption combination. At the City of Findlay tree lighting ceremony the grand prizes will be awarded and, trust us, it is worth it. Every single entry will be entered for the grand prize, even the winners of gift certificates. Grand prizes will contain substantial prizes that will last throughout the year (think a free latte a week for a year from Coffee Amici or a free bangle a month from RooBarb Studios!)
