Findlay Brewing Company

Exciting seasonal specials are brewing on Crawford Street this winter. Findlay Brewing Company has three specialty menu items on tap this month only.

The Spicy BBQ Burger brings the heat on these cold winter nights. Sandwiched between a brioche bun, this burger is anchored by an 8 oz. beef patty and adorn with pepper jack cheese, onion ring, bacon, pickled jalapeno, and BBQ sauce.

A comfort food favorite, FBC Chili is made with ground beef, red beans, and kidney beans. It is topped with cornbread croutons, cheddar cheese, and green onion.

Green and red are the colors of the season and you’ll find plenty of both in the Holiday Salad at Findlay brewing. This dish features mixed greens with shaved Brussel sprouts, apple, dried cranberry, blue cheese crumbles, and whole grain mustard vinaigrette.

The taste of Ireland is featured in the Sirloin au Poivre. The Guinness-infused lentil-barley pilaf, roasted carrots, and cracked pepper cream sauce are the perfect compliments to the tender pepper-crusted sirloin steak.

To sweeten the pot [of gold] this winter, Logan’s will be offering a Cranberry Orange Panna Cotta. The citrus-infused vanilla custard is served with marinated cranberry-orange compote and a generous drizzle of spiced red wine-honey syrup.

The Gathering

A local, handcrafted meal is best enjoyed amid the intimate ambiance of The Gathering. There’s something about the solace of the brick-lined, open-beamed interior that makes the upscale American dishes taste even better, especially on cold winter nights.

The Winter Bucatini combines the freshness of wild mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, gremolata, and wilted spinach with the savoriness of pancetta lardon, lamb bolognese, parmesan, and crostini.

Transport your taste buds seaside with The Gathering’s Paella. Shrimp, chicken thigh, and Spanish chorizo rendezvous amongst saffron bomba rice, sweet pea, bell pepper, onion, Gathering herbs, Spanish sofrito, and lemon.

Speaking of the coast, the Cajun Shrimp and Grits spotlights cajun dusted jumbo shrimp accompanied by hatch chile cheddar grits, red pepper, fennel, Spanish onion, spicy tomato fennel broth, parmesan, and lemon.

For a sweet and snowy treat, the Winter Sundae features vanilla pound cake, Belgian chocolate candy cane ice cream, cheesecake ice cream, cherries jubilee, gingersnap crumble, white chocolate chips, and chantilly cream.

The decadent Espresso Cheesecake is Zingerman’s espresso custard, almond tuile, Belgian chocolate ganache, espresso maple drizzle, chantilly cream enveloped in a chocolate cookie crust.

No matter what you choose you’ll enjoy fresh, seasonal flavors in Findlay this December!
