In this musical comedy, the best spellers in the county gather at Putnam Valley Middle School to match wits, spelling words like “sygyzy,” “capybara,” and “qaymaqam,” all while navigating the ups and downs of adolescence. With music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman, with additional material by Jay Reiss, this delightful musical is fun for the whole family.
