It’s National Moth Week! This week celebrates our native moth species as well as a weeklong citizen science project to document local species. Help your friends at Hancock Park District document moths that live at Litzenberg. Learn about moth biology before going on a hike to look for moths on baited trees and a light trap.

Meet at the Activity Barn at Litzenberg Memorial Woods by 9:30. This event is for people ages 18 and up. The event is free but you must register online by 4pm on Monday, July 25th by going to www.HancockParks.com.
