Ohio has over 130 species of butterflies living within its borders. Our scale-winged beauties inspired camp will highlight ones we can see in our own parks. Which one is the most common? Which one is the biggest? Join your friends at Hancock Park District to find out more about their life cycle and what they look like as caterpillars. Snacks will be provided, but please bring a sack lunch and a reusable water bottle. Insect repellent and sunscreen are optional.

This is a one-day camp open to ages 6 – 12.  Register with $20 per child by 9 AM on Wednesday, August 9. To receive a free t-shirt, campers must be registered by 9 AM on Wednesday, August 2 and attend three of the August Adventure Day Camps.
