All About Raptors

March 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The Latin word “raptor” means “to seize or capture.” It describes how these birds hunt with their large, strong talons and sharply hooked bills. There are more to raptors than just their hunting style. Many characteristics make them unique. Program Specialist Christine Patterson will present a talk to learn about the raptors that live right here in Ohio. Then get a chance to look at and touch different raptor wings and talons to see what makes them so amazing.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  Required to be ages 16 and up.  Free; but click here to register by 1 PM on Friday, March 18.
