Join Hancock Park District to watch the five new bat boxes that are on the Activity Barn at Litzenberg Memorial Woods for bats leaving for their night’s activity. With the help of Hancock Park District’s new hand-held bat detector, you’ll be able to determine what species of bats live there or happen to be flying around the barn area of the park.

Meet at the shelter at Litzenberg Memorial Woods by 8:45pm. This event is recommended for ages 9 and up. The event is free and registration is not required. Any questions can be directed to Michelle Rumschlag at mrumschlag@hancockparks.com.
