With our warm, buggy, summer nights, our bats are out having a feast. Come on a night hike with Hancock Park District as we search for bats that call the park home. We will walk over to Giertz Lake to watch the bats hunt for insects over the water. Then as it starts to get darker, we will go in the woods to use our bat detection equipment to listen to bats echolocating and determine what species they are.

Meet at Shelter 3.  All ages are welcome to this free event, registration is not required.
