November 28 – January 1
The Blaze of Lights display, including the Ream folk art collection, will be illuminated at Bluffton Presbyterian Church. The Ream collection is vintage Christmas folk art created by farmer Harry Ream and his wife Dorothy, who began making and displaying the decorations in 1938. In the mid-1980’s the family donated 168 wood cutouts to the village. Since then, dozens more have been added by artist Terry Mullenhour and families throughout the village join in by displaying Ream-style cutout figures.
