Dine Downtown to Support Local Farmers

Findlay will celebrate local farmers by embracing an innovative new product, high oleic soybean oil, as part of an upcoming event. To show that #OHLovesSoy, Findlay restaurants will be cooking up delicious foods cooked in high oleic soybean oil, which is great for their fryers and provides opportunities for area soybean farmers.
Why Findlay? The city has a booming agriculture business, and a number of farmers who grow high oleic soybean on their own fields call it home.
Come to the following events to learn about growing high oleic soybeans and enjoy foods cooked in their premium oil.
Farmer learning session in the Millstream Art Plaza for area farmers to learn more about high oleic soybeans and hear from the vice chair of the United Soybean Board, John Motter, an area farmer who grows high oleic soybean oil on 100 percent of his fields.
