Discovery Stories: Animal Migration

March 6 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Spring is coming and with the changing of the seasons the animals begin to move. This seasonal movement of animals is known as migration. Many groups of animals migrate like birds, mammals, and insects. Join Hancock Park District as we read a fun story together about what migration is and why animals do it. Then participants will be able to go in depth about the groups of animals that migrate in North America and through Ohio. Create a Monarch butterfly popsicle stick puppet and do a coloring page of your favorite migrating animal.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free event is open to ages 4-5 with an adult; other aged siblings are welcome to attend.  Registration is not required.
