Have you heard about fairy homes? They are small houses built from natural materials for “fairies”, “gnomes” and woodland creatures. Building fairy houses is lots of fun and a great activity to share with family or friends. Come out to Oakwoods and join Hancock Park District to see some examples of fairy homes and learn how you can build some for your own garden.

Meet at the Discovery Center at the Oakwoods Nature Preserve by 1pm. People of all ages are welcome to attend. The event is free and registration is not required to attend.
