Fire has been a tool of humans for many years. Join Hancock Park District an learn the different ways to build a campfire, all the materials you need, and which type of wood is better than others. You’ll also get to be hands-on with starting a fire the way Native Americans and pioneers did it. Since participants will be making a campfire, we will end the evening with s’mores.

Meet at the Activity Barn at Litzenberg Memorial Woods by 6:30pm. This event is recommended for ages 18 and up. You must register online with it being $4 pe person by 1pm on Thursday, August 25th by visiting the link found here. The maximum capacity for this event is 12 people.
