Sam is an out-of-work actor who answers the reservation line at one of Manhattan’s best restaurants. His desperate callers are determined to get seats at the best tables, the panicked maître d’ is dealing with VIP guests, and Sam just wants that one big acting break that will allow him to leave the restaurant business altogether. Forty characters are played by one versatile performer in this one-act comedy.
