Geocaching Workshop for Middle Schoolers

March 21 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Free

What is geocaching? Geocaching is the world’s largest treasure hunt. Using GPS devices, participants seek out hidden containers, called “geocaches” or “caches”. First, we will learn the rules and regulations for setting our own cache, then we will learn how to find others throughout the area. After the presentation, we will go out on a geocache hunt in the Oakwoods Nature Preserve to look for hidden geocaches in the park.

Meet at Discovery Center.  This event is recommended for ages 12-14.
Free; but click here to register by 8 AM on Monday, March 21.
