Globe at Night: Pegasus & Cygnus
October 10 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeEvent Navigation
Globe at Night is an international citizen-science campaign to raise public awareness of the impact of light pollution. This will be done by measuring the sky brightness of this month’s constellations: Pegasus and Cygnus. Hancock Park District along with participants will learn the size and location of these constellations and some mythology about them. We will then turn to the night sky to find them and record our observations.
Meet on the Discovery Center Porch. This free event is open to all ages, registration is not required.
