Haunted History Tour: Revisiting “1892 A Lynching on Main St.”

Join us at the Jones Mansion for their annual Haunted History Tour! Since 2014 these unique tours have taken place, focused on historic events featuring lore, characters and events in and around Findlay’s past.
This year’s Haunted History Tour features the story behind the 1892 Lynching that occurred on the Main Street bridge and telegraph pole. Guests will hear the documented story of this infamous event. Historical interpreters will portray the actual people and telling their recollection of events just as it unfolded being told to law enforcement and reporters of the time.
Timed tours begin promptly at 6 with the last group starting at 9 p.m. Each group will travel several flights and lasting about 90 minutes. Due to the nature of this crime story, it is not suitable for children.
All proceeds go towards the upkeep and continued preservation of The Jones Mansion. Tickets are $10 each and limited. Call Jane at 419-722-7037 and reserve your spot, tickets typically sell out! If available, tickets at the door are $15.
