September 16 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Corn has been a historically integral crop across most of the country, Hancock County included. From Native American cultivation to present day farming, corn is used in many different foods, animal feed, and even sometimes fuel. In this program we will learn about the Native American cultivation of corn, the Pioneer method of farming corn, and how corn is farmed today. We will also look at historical recipes and uses of corn from the 1800’s.

Meet at the Activity Barn. This free program is open to adults 50 and older.  Register online by 1 p.m. on Friday, September 13.
