Join Hancock Park District as we take a closer look at those buried at Indian Green Cemetery, located in Liberty Township, just east of Litzenberg Memorial Woods. In this program, you will learn about the 50 children, all aged 11 and under, who are buried there. After a program in the Activity Barn, a hike along U.S. Highway 224 to the cemetery to look at their grave stones will take place. Participants must be able to hike the over ¾ mile round trip to the cemetery.

Meet at the Activity Barn at Litzenberg Memorial Woods by 10 am. This event is recommended for those ages 18 and up. The event is free but you must register online by 1pm on Friday, August 5th by visiting the link found here. The event’s maximum capacity is 20 people.
