With the warm winds of summer, what better way to enjoy the breeze than flying your very own kite! Join Hancock Park District at Aeraland to create your own kite from newspaper, dowel rods, string, and ribbon. Learn about the history of kites, how they work, and what a good kite needs to fly. After your kites are made, you will test them out and fly them in the field.

Meet at the Shelter.  This event is open to children ages 6-10 with an adult.  Register with $6 per child by 4 PM on Wednesday June 29 online at www.HancockParks.com. Adults do not need to register.
