There are many kinds of animals that have a protective covering that we call a shell. Join Hancock Park District for a talk about various bugs, mollusks, and reptiles that utilize shells in the animal kingdom. Children can participate in Life in a Shell activities where they will get to experience what it would be like to wear various kinds of shells.
Meet at the Discovery Center. This free event is open to children ages 5-9, registration is not required.
