Join in Hancock Park District’s program where children will get to choose an animal and then build a habitat out of a big box that will be provided. Children will draw, color, and collect things from nature to make the habitat a nice cozy place for the animals to live. The rabbit would like a home with leaves and twigs. The woodchuck would like a hole near a meadow with flowers and grass to eat. And the bear would like a home in a box cave with drawings on the wall.

Meet at the Nature Play Area.  This free program is open to children ages 3-6 with an adult, other siblings are welcome to attend.  Registration is not required.
