Bring your preschoolers out & join Hancock Park District to find out the characteristics that make an animal a mammal. At hands-on stations, children will be able to compare teeth, touch furs, and roll the dice to build their own mammal. Afterwards, enjoy a hike or a visit to the park on your own. Adult companions must remain with children for this program.

Meet at the Discovery Center at the Oakwoods Nature preserve by 10am. This event is recommended for children ages 3 -6 with and adult; other aged siblings are also welcome to attend. The event is free and registration is not required to attend.
