When you walk, jump, or jog outside, chances are you are stepping on rocks. But are all rocks the same? Bring your preschoolers out to join their friends at Hancock Park District to investigate the hard facts about rocks. Children will use magnifying glasses to explore the minerals that make up different rocks and then they can go on a rock scavenger hunt. Adult companions must remain with children for this program.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This event is open to those ages 3-6 with an adult, other age siblings are welcome to attend.  This event is free, registration is not required.
