These little guys go by the name Sow bug, Roly polies and Pill bug, and they help make the garden soil richer. Bring your preschoolers out to join Hancock Park District and learn about this little crustacean. You will make your own Roly Poly craft and even have some Roly Poly races. Adult companions must remain with children for this program.

Meet at the Discovery Center at the Oakwoods Nature Preserve by 2pm. This event is recommended for children ages 3 – 6 with an adult; other aged siblings are welcome to attend. The event is free and registration is not required to attend.
