Join Hancock Park District and learn all about shadows and the cool things we can do with them. We will start outside to learn what a shadow is and why they form and then draw our own shadows on the sidewalk using chalk. Then we will go inside to watch a shadow puppet show. After the show, we will play with shadows by making and putting on a show with your own shadow puppet, learn how to make hand shadow puppets, create art by tracing the shadows of toy animals, and play a shadow matching game.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free program is open to ages 3-6 with an adult.  Other siblings are welcome to attend.
