As National Moth Week comes to a close come, enjoy a night of mothing. Join Hancock Park District as we set up light traps around the Discovery Center to get an idea of the moths living in the park. Not only will you see moths but also a wide variety of other nocturnal insects in the park. As you attract these insects, you will learn all about moths, the species that we are seeing, and why they are important. Throughout the night help Hancock Park District document the moths as we photograph them for the National Moth Week citizen science project. Children who attend will receive some moth coloring pages.

Meet at the Discovery Center Porch.  All ages are welcome to this free program, registration is not required.
