We mostly think of moths being out only during the night, however many moths are active during the day. Come along with Hancock Park District as we hike the south side of Litzenberg Memorial Woods in search for our active daytime moths and resting nighttime moths. Use insect nets to try to locate and capture these moths. You might find some caterpillars and other insects as well. You will learn about the moths we see and help us document them as we photograph them for the National Moth Week citizen science project.

Meet at the South Side Parking Lot.  This free program is open to ages 16 and up, registration is not required.
