It is National Old Rock Day. Learn what makes a rock, an old rock. Hancock Park District will have fossils on display, such as a trace fossil rock of a turtle shell, whale vertebrae, dinosaur bones, and fossil coprolite (scat). Kids will enjoy making their own dinosaur trace fossil out of flour, salt, and warm water that can be taken home.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free program is open to all ages, registration is not required.
