Junior Dietetics majors, Arie Cox and Keturah Warlick will be presenting a program about Betalains and Lycopene, the purple and red pigments found in fruits and vegetables. They will present information about the nutritional and health benefits of these foods and demonstrate practical ways to incorporate them into everyday meal planning and food preparation. Food samples and recipes will be provided. Adults only.
