Saturn will be at its closest approach to Earth this week and it will be fully illuminated by the Sun. This means it will be brighter than any other time in the year. Join Hancock Park District to take a closer look at the ringed planet and some of its moons. Participants are required to sit on the floor. Ask about accommodations.

Meet at the Discovery Center at the Oakwoods Nature Preserve by 6:30pm. People of all ages are welcome to attend. The event is free but you must register online by 4pm on Tuesday, August 16th by visiting the link found here. The maximum capacity for this event is 25 people.
