In this online video series, Hancock Park District will lead a virtual multi-week workshop in which participants will carve a silhouette shore bird decoy of a bird called a Red Knot. The course is divided into four segments, which include introduction and rough carving, detail carving, finishing, and painting with segments being uploaded every 2 weeks. After registration closes, a kit containing a carving blank, a dowel rod, an eye, pattern, and a list of other supplies needed can be picked up at the HPD Office.  Click here to register with $20 per person by 1 PM on Friday January 8.  Registration required, recommended for ages 14 and older.
