Come and explore the rocking world of geology. Join Hancock Park District and learn all about different types of rocks and minerals by viewing geologic collections of interesting rocks, crystals, geodes, agates, and fossils. Then take a hike to see what kinds of rocks we can find in the park. Participants will receive a rock and break open their own geode.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free program is open to homeschoolers ages 5-14, register online by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4.
