A fun way to learn about science is through experiments. kids are invited to join their friends at Hancock Park District to observe flowers miraculously change color as the flowers absorb food dye. They will learn about light reflection and figure out what color a mirror is. There will be an experiment to learn how crystals form by using sugar, water, and some string. The program will end with a classic baking soda volcano.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free program is open to children ages 10-12.  Registration is not required.
