Come to the Nature Play Area and create your own shelter using materials only found in the woods. Your friends at Hancock Park District will go over the basics in shelter building, learn about different types of shelters and where to setup a safe shelter, and then work together with others to build a shelter. After the program, play around in the Nature Play Area and the shelters that you created.

Meet at the Nature Play Area.  The free program is best for ages 6-10 with an adult.  Register by 1 p.m. on Monday, November 21. Adults do not need to register.
