The warm nights of summer are filled with the songs of insects. Join Hancock Park District for an open house to learn all about the four groups of singing insects; crickets, grasshoppers, katydids, and cicadas. Learn how and why these insects make sound and find out what species you may be able to find in the parks.

Meet at the Discovery Center at the Oakwoods Nature Preserve. The event starts at 1pm and will go on till 4pm. All ages are welcome to join. This event  is free and registration is not required!
