Stopping Asian Hate

May 11 @ 7:00 pm

As we recognize Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month, George Kwan, of OCA of Greater Cleveland (Asian Pacific American Advocates), will talk about issues of Asian discrimination and racial tensions that he has personally experienced growing up.

He will also present the history of racial tensions within the greater Cleveland area and how issues of race have often been covered up. He will promote advocacy and give us tools as what we can do to try to help mend bridges and stop the cycle of hatred and violence.

All are welcome to this free event.

This event is part of Black Heritage Library & Multicultural Center’s Beloved Community series.  BHLMC is a non-profit center, donations are always appreciated.
