Here is a chance for teens to take a guided kayak trip on the Blanchard River and enjoy the scenic view along the way. If you are lucky, you might see turtles sunning themselves and the great blue heron flying along the river corridor. Hancock Park District will have a brief talk about boating safety and how to maneuver your kayak before we get started.

Meet at the Zonta Landing area at the Riverside Park Waterfont by 9 am. This event is for ages 13-18. You must register online with it being $10 per person by 4pm on August 1st by visiting the link found here. The maximum capacity for this event is 12 people so it is recommended that you register earlier in advance.
