Tween Night: Go Fish! (At Oakwoods)

April 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Love to fish? Never been fishing but want to know how? Join your friends from the library at Oakwoods Nature Preserve to learn about local fish, make a fishing game, and if the weather permits, go fishing at the pier. This activity is inspired by our 2023 YouthREAD book, “Caterpillar Summer” by Gillian McDunn.

We’ll meet at the Richard S. “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center and go fishing at Shank Lake (if weather permits). This is a free program for those grades 2-6, under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Register Here!
